I think I'm still going to tweak the color a bit, possibly adding a blue tinge, but here's a WIP shot of it painted. The character of the stone is popping now with the dark paint, yah?

I wouldn't touch it with anything else, this is simply outstanding the way it is!! I think a hint of blue would lessen the impact.
