This was sadly a fast art. Its too hot in this damn room to focus much and wanted to get it done tonight as the person who's avatar art that is is having their birthday today. So a bit late on getting that started.
Didn't do too much detail to it, might go back in later and touch it up, or just redo the whole thing.

My ears are usually along the line of you with elbows. Drawn fast and they turn out how they turn out.

Nah, your poses are fine. Think you just maybe need to work on the less rounded aspect of it. Give it less of a rushed feel.
