The "DeadCity" series are inspired by a band called Ulver...

hehe....Ulver is a fantastic group....back then, when i was listening to black, doom, death and other delicate stuff)))), Ulver was in my top-10.
last year i launched the page on myspace and Ulver was the first band i added, lol....among many groups, this is the band whose concert i would really like to visit.

You gallery is so inspiring. I don't remember if i've told you that before....actually it became a ray of light to me...these days...thank you for creating it)
Warmest wishes from Ukraine!

Thanks a lot for the very kind words! I'm really glad you're enjoying my work and I very much appreciate your support

Yeah, Ulver is indeed a great band. I enjoy both the black/folk stuff and the newer experimental stuff.

hehe.
what groups do you listen to recently?...what are modern?...i mean, in black metal, folk and other stuff. Anyway, you live in a land that has been a motherland of such styles, so i thought maybe you could recommend sth to listen or....just tell whatever you want. It's very interesting for me to get to know the local underground music scene better, and compare it to ours.....which has been almost completely taken by emo, blah. grrrrrrrrrrrr

it is always very pleasant to read sth form you. I really appreciate it.

Personally I listen to a lot of different stuff, everything from ambient and classical, to metal. But here's some new recomendations from the norwegian metal scene
Sahg - If you like Black Sabbath, you'll love'em. [link]
Keep of kalessin [link]
Iskald[link] Sworn [link] Sjodogg [link] In Vain [link]
Tulus [link] Vreid [link]
Funeral [link] - DOOM
Oh, what a list. Enjoy

Well, those DeadCity are just amazing..!

It's like your shots are always on mute, no sound...

Thanks a lot!

You've got a good point here actually. A quick look through my gallery reveals only a few photos with people (or "noisy things") on them...
On these "cityshots" streets are all empty. No cars, no people...so there you go - soundless, hehe

Thanks for the favs btw

It's a good thing!

I don't like humans when they're too present on shots.
Of course, it depends on what kind of shots...

Ah yes, I totally agree.
Humans can add a lot to a picture, but sometimes "dead" things or just nature speaks for itself...

Indeed, they can tell so much more things than people...
