This picture really caught my eye (No pun intended here, really). I really like the concept of this piece and there's something really interesting and powerful about it. One part that sticks out to me though that I think you might want to edit is the left hand between the thumb and index finger the white part of the eye looks a bit too white and looks like there's a bit of a bite out of the iris, unless that's intentional?
Either way, I really like how the hands are pulling out the iris, trying to remove it from the rest of the eyes and I like that it looks like the thumb on the right hand is sinking in to the pupil.

This is an amazing EYE-dea...I'm horrible. Gawd, kill me now. Everytime I look at this I'm thinking he's removing a computer disk...or it may LOOK like an eye but maybe it's something else. Or you can take it literally and think the guy is in horrible pain, like you said.
