Description
Decomposition's a bitch.

This came about because Nef had a point, the wily vixen. I was basically drawing the same picture over and over with just slight variations, and so, here's my attempt to break from my pattern. The pose isn't anything spectacular, but I did try to do different expressions, i.e., Freak Tongue.

Everytime I've ever drawn the Oracle before, she was basically a normal skunk lupe with three heads. But I got to thinking, unlike Phryxeria, for whom being undead is what she is and therefore doesn't rot away, Oracle's body is really just an animated corpse. And after a few years of chasing Flarix around, biology's bound to take its toll. I actually feel kinda sorry for Pax, what with half her face rotting off.

Another thing about this picture is, the ribs and even the coloring is based off a picture I did last year for an English project where I had to make a visual representation of 'As I Lay Dying' by Faulkner. I drew a symbolic picture for Jewel of a decomposing but not yet totally skeletal horse. Frankly, it beat the hell out of this picture because it was done in colored pencils and looked much more rancid. Sadly, the scanner was broken and, it's now hanging on Ms. Blackman's wall.

And the background is the same painting I've used for her and for a picture of Phyrx before. It's by Ron Spencer.
