This stamp isn't directed at people who simply don't like, don't use, or aren't interested in Facebook.
It's directed at people who attack people who HAVE accounts, label everyone who has an account an idiot, act like they're 'superior' to people who have FB's, and act like the website is the spawn of the devil or some shit.
No, the way you communicate with others doesn't make you better than anyone else, and Faceboook is not the worst thing to ever happen to the world.

I have a Facebook, but I hardly ever go on. The reason for that is because I just became disinterested in it. But I don't attack people who have ones, that's just stupid to do that.

I approve this... I just saw an Anti-Facebook stamp in the Stamp group, too. The first comment was "Facebook is for idiots, dA FTW!"
I.... I facepalmed, first, then reply that Facebook and DeviantArt are not same the thing. They shouldn't compare these websites.
And now, for the people who blame facebook for the people on it... You surely have a mess with your friend list then... or go to groups and places where you shouldn't go. But you can choose if you add someone you don't know as friend or simply ignore it
I haven't find any of those so-called "idiots" in the website because I'm organized. I just use FB to communicate with my friends and share some pictures. I also joined simple groups about things I like. But it's not a toy or photobucket, either. And obviously I wouldn't submit the art I submit here on Facebook... That is what deviantArt is for, so I wouldn't care much about the.... "copyrights" or Facebook owning them.
It all depends of how you use it. Learn about responsability and don't submit your whole life and info, and you won't get all that "evilness" in your face.

To be honest, I don't see how dA is all that different from Facebook, which is what annoys me the most about all of this 'ONLY ___'s USE FACEBOOK' stuff. They both have chat systems, they both have pages/groups, they both have their fair share of stupid people. The only difference is that Deviantart is more centered around art than pop culture.
I agree with you about what people are doing on the website. I mean, you wouldn't really have a problem if you just logged on to talk to people you know, and if you're adding 'idiots' to your page it's your own damn fault.

I don't have a problem with people using it at all if they don't hurt other people with it.
What drives me nuts is when people are always hassling you about using this shit when you don't want to do it. Hell. Even there was an article saying that people without a Facebook happen to be antisocial.
But I agree. It doesn't have to do at all with the site you use to communicate, it doesn't make you superior.

Not actually true. The legalese is that FB has the right to retain the photos on facebook if someone leaves (for security purposes, no different than DA) and that they can alter photos in the process of making things like thumbnails and sample images for the user's page (also like DA). They can't take your photos and sell them or use them outside facebook (just like DA).
The problem is that people who don't understand legal speak see these 'rights' discussion and get freaked out.

Facebook is full of annoying people, but not because it's Facebook. People seem to blame Facebook for all the idiots of the world. Although I hate Facebook (I must admit most of the people on it get on my nerves and I have no interest in that sort of site), people definitely overreact about it.
