The dust started to clear on the battle ground. From what you saw there was only one living person and that was America. He pleaded for you to spare his life but what you saw him do to some of your closest friends was unforgivable you held your gun to his head and fired the last shot.

You, Germany, and Japan stood tall. You were all there the whole Axis group but wait...one was missing. You glance over at Germany your e/c eyes filled with concern "Where is Italy?" you ask softly.

Germany's eyes widen and he ran through the rows of bodies mostly of the Allies. He ran passed France's body, America's body, England's body, and China's body until he saw him. You ran next to Germany and you both skidded to a stop at what you saw. Japan wasn't that far behind you. He also skidded to a stop at what he saw.

Italy lied on the ground his life slipping away from him with each shallow breath he took. Germany ran over to Italy and saw three bullet holes in his chest. Tears welled up in Germany's eyes. After so long he couldn't hold them back any longer. He felt the tears roll down his cheeks. He picked up Italy's body holding Italy close to his chest. Blood stained Germany's torn uniform.

Italy coughed up some blood and looked up weakly at you and Germany. He smiled weakly at you both "I-I tried m-my hardest G-Germany." he let out a quiet whimper.

You stared down at them your eyes filling with tears as well.

Germany cried even more "Italy please don't leave...please." he cried. Rain started to pour down on all of you. Germany's usual sleek hair was now ruffled and wet.

Italy felt his life slowly slipping from him and his vision starting to fade "G-Germany...." he said softly.

Germany looked down at Italy his eyes red and puffy from crying "V-Vhat is it?" he said.

"I-I'll miss you..." with those last breathless words Italy fell limp. His eyes staring off into the distance.

Germany's eyes widened and held Italy tighter than ever "No!! Italy come back!!!" he screamed.

You watched sadly your heart breaking into millions of pieces. You walked over to Germany and placed your hand on his shoulder "Germany....he's gone." you said sadly. You tried to stay as strong as you could but you couldn't hold it any longer and you fell to your knees crying.

Germany gently lied Italy's body on the ground and he pulled you close to him.

You gripped tightly to Germany's torn uniform top and turned your face into his chest and cried "Italy I'm sorry!!" You cried.

Japan was one to take death very well able to hold back all of the tears but this time....he dropped to his knees getting his bloody and torn uniform muddy. He cried as well mourning for Italy.

After the war had passed you, Germany, and Japan stood out looking over the newly shaped world proud of it but also very sad that Italy was gone. He played a big role in their hearts and played a big roll to the Axis. When Italy crossed your mind you pulled Germany close and buried your face into his chest. A few tears rolled down your cheeks.

Germany stroked your h/c locks "Its okay. He wants you to stay strong for him." he told you.

You nodded but you still held on to Germany. "Italy...why did you have to go so soon?"
