Description
Just an accompanying sketch to the ink illustration I did of my "Kashmir" concept, laying out the design, clothing, and general size proportions of the humans and their superior Orsi counterparts. Yeah...they're pretty big. (Pictured is a female, whom are slightly larger than male Orsi, meaning this is the biggest size disparity you'd probably witness)I'm still getting a bit used to getting comfortable with putting my processes up online but I think this page turned out well regardless!

Eating your so your soul can properly pass into heaven. It's the really dark religion the Orsi fabricated at the start of the empire both to subjugate humans and make a fancy excuse to literally prey on them at will. Unfortunately for them, over the years they started believing their own lies as the generations went on.Β

So wait they can eat Souls? Do they actually eat souls, or do they just eat people and pretend that that does their soul too? And why is it unfortunate that they believe their own lies? The get to eat any time they want, why does it matter if they know they aren't sending humans to paradise or not?

I suppose it's unfortunately for the predominantly human main cast of the story haha. And no they don't. They just say/pretend that they do to fullfill the illusion of the made-up religion they use to oppress humans.Β

So they don't eat Humans, but came up with a reason to prey on Humans whenever they, whom they don't eat...

No they do, they simply crafted an elaborate excuse to make it socially acceptable so they can do it whenever they want. Humans aren't the mainstay of their diet so it can be a little here or there sometimes. I understand if it's confusing. But I'm still working bits of it out myself.Β

Ok so they do eat people, and they pretend/believe that eating people, also consumes their soul thereby sending them to paradise? Is this like a cooked and stuffed kind of eating, a getting chuncks ripped out while living kind of eating, or a Swalowed whole kind of eating? I honestly don't know of thoes three which is the worst way to die.

On a related note, have you heared of that insane ass Discovery channel show thats about to come out where a bunch of scientists are going to make a Python swallow a Live human with a suit of armor on whole... FOR SCIENCE?

More-so a precisely placed bite puncture on your neck/throat that kills you before you get swallowed. Either way it isn't fun since you know...the whole dying element.Β

The Orsi feel very 'Egyptian' to me. I think it's the style of clothing and jewelry they wear. Also the name- sounds similar to Osiris.

They defiantly have various cultural influences as far as their kind goes, and Egyptian is one of them!

I love getting a sense of scale and seeing just how big monsters like this are. I also loooooove the amount of detail given to the outfit, it's very ornate and regal.

When she says paradise, is she saying she's gonna eat him?

Yuuuup, they've got a sick level of indoctrination/religion about who get's go to Β "paradise" (heaven) when they die and the only way humans can get there is through consumption by the Orsi who are deemed as inherently "holy". It's a whole plot element and what not.Β

Gee. I kinda hoped that she would refer her box when she said paradise, though I wouldn't see her as appealing that way than many other of your monsters. Her design is still killer and I would love to read the comic.

Hahaha thank you! And yes they all dress this way for the most part (as far as their going out in public dress goes rather in the relaxed privacy of their own homes). What you're seeing is just an average Orsi, the royalty are usually even MORE extravagantly dressed though, hahaha.Β
