The “Strangeverse”as I call it keeps growing as I keep folding new characters into it…one day I’m sure Disney will come for it too.
Norman Bellancamp and Maeve Graves are a traveling freelance ghost-hunting couple that live and operate mainly in British Columbia, Canada. Norman can see and talk to ghosts as well as sense ambient concentrations of spectral energy in the environment (like poltergeists, mass graves, or cursed locations). Maeve, due to a head injury she suffered as a pre-teen got “something knocked loose” and as a result has a strange potpourri of abilities. They range from levitation, mild telekinesis, astral projection, and eating ghosts. According to her she’s “approximately 25% dead”.
The duo aren’t part of the official Strangewatchers team, but are on a short list of several individuals the UN initiative keeps an eye on for potential help with small regional issues, or support if the main group isn’t enough. In simple terms: they’re on the less impressive “B Team”. This means in the meantime the two have to continue their freelance business to support themselves (with varied success).
I’m still honestly hashing out their respective powers so just a heads up that their abilities might randomly change in the future if I see fit. They’re a work-in-progress, but also so cute that I had to post them.
Maeve was created/originally owned by Cubiccyan before she was given to me (and I turned her proportions up to 11).Please go give them a look and a follow!
