“Oh no! What did I do wrong? Please don’t be mad at me! I wasn’t my fault! I-I can fix it! I’m sorry! *Sob*”
Plaza spends 90% of the story with that sword run through her stomach, but due to her incredible healing factor it’s not fatal (though she’s too scared to try and have anyone remove it). Plaza is by far the most emotionally damaged and saddened by her exile from her home world, while many of the others left on much more bitter terms. The water in her helmet-like apparatus is her tears, and she faces the prospect through the story of changing her cry-baby ways or risking literally drowning in her own sadness.
She was labeled as a traitor and exiled from the kingdom of Citica.

I really like that she just keeps the sword in because she can't get over the guilt/shame of being kicked out. It speaks volumes about how sad she is and really adds to it. ;; poor thing
