I never really decided whether he was crying or not, I think my goal was moreso to just add emotion to it--the character is my friend's and is a masochist (hence the scars on his neck), and I guess the bloody nose effect tied into that. He's probably just moreso in a deep thought or something, I didn';t think much about it when I was drawing it xD So he very well could be crying~.
