Large prey is still hard, if not impossible, to find in Chandor. The herds have been killed or chased off and it will take some time formthe land to recover from the Hive. Balduin focuses all of his energy into keeping the pack fed; out of duty and grateful for the distraction.

Coming to the top of a hill to overlook a once plentiful meadow to find it, too, sadly empty he cannot help but take a moment to himself. He stands motionless, appreciatating the silence. Since returning home he had not been able to shake this feeling of being cold and empty, but now he felt something very different.

Chandor was... Beautiful.

And no matter what, it was still home.

Balduins mental health has been deeply affected by the Hive Wars, and it will be a long road to recovery for him and many wolves across the domain. But in quiet solitude one autumn afternoon, Balduin is able to find a moment of peace. Something he has not felt in quite a long time.
