Wanted to paint a selfportrait for my new website tamarapatrick.com, I had a lot of fun playing around with the colors and background

I know that feeling... think a lot of artists struggle with being in control and letting go.
I've noticed my work gets better when I just let go and not worry so much lol

I need to do some watercolour paintings and procastinate them for a week now, think I will just try to give the whole letting go a go
That's what I admire in you and other traditional artists, the art looks just so lifely instead of stiff, like most digital works do^^

Love all the bright colors you use, certainly not my thing to do!! Nice fading out keeping the face sharp. Have to make a self portrait some day but just can't bring myself to painting me.. not interesting enough I guess.
