Its not always easy to find the right words, when discovering a great piece of art. But i'm sure, this is worth it.
I will begin to talk about the colours first, not the motive. The choice of doing this as a black and white picture makes the picture more impressive than it would be in colour. It shows great differences in their fur and impressions.
Now, let's talk about the motive - The monkeys:
As you can see, they all have their eyes closed, i'm not quite sure if they are sleeping or not. It makes a good photograph. They are cuddling, like it might be cold, surely a picture worth.
You captured a great situation and are presenting it in the best way i can imagine. The depth of sharpness gives more room to the three monkeys in the front, making the picture more exciting.
Alll in all, this is a great picture, the only thing i want to mention is the title and the description. Maybe this could be more expressive - but the picture as itself is amazing and great!
Well done!

Thanks for the kind words. Β I do keep meaning to give more than one word titles and descriptions to my work. Β I shall one day go back through my work and update them.
Thanks
Tom

This is a valuable capture of an intimate group moment.
- The right side has slightly underexposed parts, but it's just a minor issue, because the subject is not affected.
-Β I would be curious about the reason for using black and white (emphasizing texture, balancing distracting colors, ...?).
- Did you consider cropping the top a bit? The reason: now the viewer is divided between the focus (the relationship of the three central monkeys), the other monkeys and the background leaves. This makes the picture a bit too busy.Β From the preview (1024x731) I cropped the top resulting in a picture 1024x654).Β

Hi Semuta,
Thanks for the comment. Ill answer in orderL
- I darkened around the outside bit more than I would normal as it is quite a busy photo and I wanted people really focussing on the two central sets of closed eyelids.
- Black and White because as you say its a busy photo and was even more so before also I love the way BW emphasises the texture of photos especially skin.
-This is actually already quite cropped down (roughly a 1/4 remains) i left the chap at the top in as I didn't want half a face appearing.
