Tonight I suddenly had the urge to draw something in a Disney style. I realized that I haven't drawn my OC Althaea in a while, so I did a little Digital Sketch. This is a reference sheet now

ABOUT THE CHARACTER

Althaea is mermaid with a difference. Her black pearl necklace gives her the ability to change into a human when she is on land. It gives her a lot of freedom on land in the sea. Sometimes she explores the towns surrounding the oceans and even goes on journeys further inland. She is often perceived as a bit awkward, but sweet. Her red hair just does not want to be tamed. Ever. She has her own individual style.

Friends: Her best friend is Pearl, a mischievous little seahorse. Pearl always gets them into trouble. She also has a pearl necklace (don't ask me why I haven't worked that out yet...) and changes into a dog (more sketches to follow, I guess)

Kelpburgers and Seaweed salad
Dancing, when she is on land
And of course, pearls

Dislikes:
Overly Confident People
Bugs
Boredom
