Nice. Best thing is the title. "-scape" is one of China's favourite words in that book, along with "snotty", "oneric", and "russet".

Nice detailing! I'm somehow very curious about that daunting silhouette in the background. Makes me think of the tower in Professor Layton and the Curious Village somehow. I guess that's because everything in that game is steampunk'd...

Good Job!

It a shot of , or at least a small part of, the city state of New Crobuzon from the book "Perdido Street Station". The shadow in the background is the namesake of the book. It's supposed to loom in the background, massive and daunting as a symbol of political power.

In that case you've done a wonderful job capturing it, sir, because that's exactly what it depicts.

If you like steampunk, you have to read it. I always liked what steampunk was supposed to be but never thought it was executed well. This book knocks it out of the park.I'm on the last 20 or so pages and it's truly awesome
