Description This piece was for the Cloud 9 forums weekly challenge. It was inspired by Austin Grossman's "Soon I Will Be Invincible". Taken from an inner monologue a supervillain named Doctor Impossible is having about why he became a supervillain. The proper line is "What do you do? You become a hero to your own cold, inverted heart."

That's creepy-cool! All this digital? If so, what program and what kind of brushes? It has an organic feel to it.

That was Photoshop with a little bit of Painter. The brushes I use in PS are the one labeled "19" that tapers. I adjust the spacing to be closer and save the preset. In Painter I use the acrylic brush and the round pastel, when I use it, among others. I never really got into using a ton of different brushes in PS.

I've been on the Painter wagon since 5.5 onthe Mac I think I bought it because everyone else used Photoshop and I just *had* to be different .

It's a great tool but I still us PS in conjunction with it. I find getting into a new program with a piece might force something else to happen that might not otherwise. My only complaint with it is it's really hard to get a good work flow going. Things I can breeze through in PShop takes much longer in Painter.
