Thats Jon Nödtveidt (g/v) from Dissection while performing the gig of the Rebirth-Tour in 2004 in Bamberg/Bavaria.And yes, the mob and me was sweating too!
I made this photo with my Fuji S5000 - its a great cam to make photos in clubs!

I've had this picture in my main favorites folder for probably nearly 10 years now and I decided to look at it again and I realized that you uploaded it on February 2, 2006, a good 6 months before Jon Nödtveidt shot and killed himself. He was still alive when you put this up! Hell, it was already a 2 year old picture when you uploaded it.

Very nice photo. I liked it alot. I have alots of live potage from "Rebirth Of Dissection" in Stockholm.
I met Jon on a subway train 1 month before he died, he also gave me his autograph. He was very pleasant, we talked for about 5-10 minutes........

danke, aber traurig? hmm...weiß net. er hat jedenfalls genug probleme mit dem leben gehabt. ob sie durch den freitod gelöst wurden, ist eine andere sache. jedenfalls war er nach dem knast nicht mehr der alte (wer ist das schon?!) und hätte eher mal wen gebraucht, der ihn auf den richtigen weg führt und keine organisation mit mitgliedern, die das leben als solches verachten, nur weil sie die eigenen schwächen nicht bekämpfen können/wollen.
aber totzdem danke für das kompliment!

You know, this was the kind of shot I wanted of Dissection when I saw them
at the Inferno Festival last year, but I just couldn't get it...
I always hate it when guitar-parts are cut off, but really, this is amazing! We
all understand what's going on, it's totally rocking, and he's the star!
I love the motion-blur around the guitar at the top of the frame, there's so
much energy and rage here, fitting the band perfectly!
I think the flash is a bit too strong, but I guess you, like me, can't control
how much light it flashes? I really like how the flash didn't kill the lighting in
the background though. You've got him lit up, yet the light in the background
is flooding the photo with it's weird colour ;o)
Damn his overarm is huge! ¦oO hehe...
Anyways, this is a really wild shot! I can hear him scream, and I re-live the
noise Dissection created at the Inferno ;o)

and yes, this kind of shot i was looking for at the concert from beginning till the end. and at the second to the last song i´ve made it. i was so happy to took this photography!!! it was very difficult to shot, cause the moshpit was very aggressive, but i must to have this pic! so: NO PAIN NO GAIN!
