Screw it. Anyways, on with the tutorial.

Step 1) Start out by drawing guidelines, one big circle for the head, two smaller circles for the body, and even smaller circle for the hind leg. Each circle is about one-third the size of the last, so that should give you a good size estimate. For the legs, draw straight lines for the front legs, and draw the hind legs accordingly. Notice that Lines A and B are approximately the same size.

Step 2) Flesh out the body! No, seriously. You'll notice that in my example, the right front leg is raised. I did this to demonstrate how you should REFRAIN from using sharp angles when drawing ponies. Nopony like sharp angles, ya got that?? Anyways, you'll also notice that I draw ears with a bit of a point, much like and elf's. That is simply my style, if you want to draw it normally, go right ahead.

Step 3) Add the mane, tail, and cutie mark! You can draw the eyes normally, too, if you wish.
