The Interstellar Suit Mk. 4 is the primary suit of choice for deep space and new planet exploration of the Galactic Exploration Committee. Owing its base design to the respirator suits used in the early days of magical study, this suit uses a absorbent latex-like base protected with a light magic barrier. Its functions are maintained using a built-in battery contained with in the backpack that can last up to a week with a full charge. Built-in computers within the helmet provide a HUD with details on air supply, suit defensive strength, radio communication and battery life.

Using modular linking cuffs, several different armor pieces can be attached to the suit at specific points. Multiple pieces can be attached at a time, but using them drains extra power from the suit's battery.

*Shoulders: Primarily used to house environment survivability spells, thanks to embedded crystals that can hold magical energy longer.
*Armor: A basic defensive supplement. It helps protects vital organs and increases the suit's defensive shielding by 50%. Versions 2 and 3 have projected increases of 75% and 100%.
*Arms: These contain on-board scanning equipment to provide atmospheric data and basic mapping capabilities.
*Legs: Designed mostly for zero-G use due to magnetic clamps on the side, they are also designed for use with mobility enhancement spells.

So yup, that's the skinny on Garnet's suit of choice for her setting. A little more Mega Man X with the armor, but still with Metroid influences with the spell enhancements once I get those worked out. I did this as a good chance to build on the setting and to finally have a full body picture of Garnet wearing the thing.
