Description
i did this painting as part of my body of work about depicting Mother Nature as a woman amongst branches. I've had a obsession about trees for a long time, now it has evolved to our connection with trees, nature and our ecosystem. We are nature itself, people need to open their eyes to see we're our own enemy! We cut down trees and wonder why we cant plant crops when theres a drought, or our river banks collapse when we pull out the plants holding them together.
I feel very strongly about sustainability, pollution and global warming, I'm trying to put this into my work while also keeping it very personal - depicting my daily struggles with my health, reaching out from suffering.

While I agree with you for the most part, you seem to think that global warming is caused by humans. But there's a lot of evidence suggesting that it maybe part of a very long term weather cycle and humans have just accelerated it.

I love the whole concept of your painting when it comes to show and describing how we're nature.
The expression of your painting came out amazing; by the way how the woman pose along with
the branches that's attach to her. Also, I love how you apply some colors scheme on your work.

Yes I had the image of the woman reaching out in my head before I even painted her or the trees. And I thought alot about the colours. Her skin mainly cool colours, which I think brings out the sombre feeling, and makes her look a little sick.
