hey remember this pony ? yeah, me too; this is their whole revamp!
i decided to repurpose them to be part of my next gen, while keeping a few specific details.

the checkerboard band on their leg is a homage to one of kelsaline's first designs, where they had pony boots that were red and black checkerboard. additionally on that design that same checkerboard pattern was applied as a glove-like item over their ears and wings, with black goggles that had red lenses

in this design, the three aspects that stayed the same that kelsaline had includes the dark green/dark brown heterochromia, the gold/yellow skin tone under their coat, and the hair colour. the hair style is somewhat similar, but with the addition of extra separation lines, while also removing a good chunk of the length of the tail

new things in the design include the complete removal of the colour pink, the addition of white flecks, freckles, and a deformed heart shape on the chest, and a gold earring only present on one ear.

Also they're nonbinary, don't misgender them

Lockpick is a pony of few words, but has a great personality despite their silence. For reasons unknown, it seems quite rare of this pony to open their mouth, usually only doing so to grin or laugh, but otherwise tries to keep their mouth shut or covered with a hoof when they speak. The exact reasoning is unclear, but it may dig into their love of crime.

Lockpick found out their identity as an adult, when they earned their cutiemark and also discovered they hated being referred to as a mare or stallion. Their search for belonging led them to meeting all kinds of creatures and ponies that shared their ideas of gender identity. Along the way they had plenty of fun creating a ruckus everywhere they went, and that earned them their special talent, which only encouraged them to get further and further with their skills.
