After having his ID Core crushed by Naxa, Rabid is despondent and realizes his wish for power only brings more pain. He realizes that what he really wanted was to be free from oppression and bad circumstance, and this wish resonates with Swerve's new powers, repairing his ID Core and creating the Punk Buckle. He places it in the Desire Driver and strums the strings to access this red rocker form. Rabid is accompanied by a hardcore soundtrack in this form, his suit covered in spikes for added defense. Rabid's fighting style is ostentatious and unpredictable, and he is strong enough to handle crowds of Jyamato.

Rabid is also armed with the Punk Axe in this form, a weaponized guitar he can use for melee combat or to execute special attacks. Tapping the large circular button allows him to cycle through different effects to add to this weapon. First is Thrash Metal, which covers his axe in a metallic sheen and sharp spikes. Second is Electric Noise, creating highly disruptive sonic attacks. Lastly is Flame Rebel, which coats his weapon with red hot flames.

Rabid activates his Raise Buckle to summon two giant speaker stacks behind him as he starts to wail away on the Punk Axe, charging it with energy before stage diving into a somersault with his axe raised high, turning into a spinning blade of crimson energy and crashing into his target.

Rabid taps the button on his weapon and strums it, generating a silver shell that sprouts shining spikes as he swings his weapon around his body, firing metallic needles into the crowd of foes.
