Swerve steals the Slasher Buckle from Naxa halfway through the fourth round of the DGP. He places this Buckle in the Desire Driver and lowers the guillotine blade to access this black and crimson upper form. Swerve is able to hide within shadows in this form, adding the element of surprise to his attacks. The buckler on his left arm has a secret blade hidden within it. He is also armed with the Slasher JigSaber, a handheld saw weapon. Squeezing the trigger on the weapon causes the blade to spin and scatter blood red energy droplets.

Swerve activates his Raise Buckle, generating a cloak of darkness around himself and slipping into the nearest shadow. Nearby shadows then stretch towards his target, dropping the enemy into the void and revealing Swerve.

TACTICAL VIOLENCE!

Swerve grabs the second handle on his weapon and pulls both triggers at once, holding the weapon to the ground and firing off energy saws that zoom across the battlefield, climbing up the first foe they find and slicing them to ribbons.
