Description TENGAN! VAN GOGH! MEGAI TAME!
テンガン! ヴァンゴッホ! メガイテイム!
PAINT YOUR SOUL!
ペインチョソール!

Conquering his third Eyecon allows Risen to channel the spirit of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most posthumously loved painters in history. I waffled back and forth over which painter I wanted to use; I knew for a long time that I wanted a form like this, and I'm glad I saved it until I could make something I was happy with. This form definitely seems like a lesser used comedy power, but I think it also has the potential to be very badass.

Attached to the Parka's shoulders are the Concept Efude, two large paintbrushes which can be detached and wielded as tethered fighting sticks. His true power manifests much like the Pen Module from Fourze. His paintbrushes can generate prismatic energy globules, which can vary from viscous to solid in density. As a reflex, he can whip the brushes forward quickly to paint a barrier of light in front of him, or allow them to go wild, firing off globs of colorful energy at anything that moves. When detached and wielded in either hand, Risen can charge the tips with rainbow energy, which can either enhance his blows, or be tossed at enemies. He can use his power to form basic constructs like ramps and ropes, but they aren't really meant for extended use, and can eventually become dried out and brittle.

DAITENGAN! VAN GOGH! OMEGAI TAME!
ダイテンガン! ヴァンゴッホ! オメガイテイム!

Triggering the Finisher mechanism on the Megai Tamer charges the Concept Efude with multicolored light as Risen begins to swing them around his body. The brushes generate streams of brushstrokes, resembling the sky from Starry Night, which lash out at foes like a river of sparks.

Very nice concept here. I love the use of the sunflower as the mask design here, and it's a good reference to one of Van Gogh's other works. And the use of the Pen Module's power concept and taking it to a new level sounds fantastic as an ability for its versatility. It seems the true usefulness and beauty of this form is in the eye of the beholder and creator.
