Even a spider is lovely when you filter it thus!

I can imagine. Underexposed by 2 stops, seascape, with the red on bottom, blue on top holga mounted on tripod, lensbaby, horizontal motion blur, figure at higher POV in distance.
That's my idea shot.

Not so much underexposed though, cos remember the filter will reduce the amount of light hitting the film.
The shots I took of flowers in the garden with macro lenses and the dual colour filter were dreadfully underexposed, so I couldn't post them here. Could have been other things, such as high f-stop and low light and lots of macro lenses, as well as pointing down and really close to something, so that is was difficult to get light in...
Anyway, remember filter= need to over expose slightly.

My SLR gives the appropriate shutter speed. If there are filters in front of it, surely it will take that into account as just a darker day, no?

Huh?
Please don't tell me you use automatic settings? If you use automatic settings it will destroy my faith in photography.
Apologies if I misunderstood you.
Yeah, I guess it will adapt. I forgot you use digital, sorry bruv.

No, I use aperture priority most of the time and manual when taking long exposures! Never, ever ever automatic mode!

Hey man, that sounds good to me!
I look forward to you doing it. If I had a Holga, I would nick your idea.
