Hm, well I prefer doing collabs with older cameras than EOS series ideally, but used one and it turned out well, so yeah, we will have to do a swap sometime, for sure!

Go find them batteries!

And I will incorporate similar colours in ours, if we do one too! They always turn out different, based on level of exposure.

i have some old cameras too, to many actually. i just work with the digital eos most of the time, because films and batteries are too expensive for me at the moment. i think it's a great concept, something new for me. how does the swap work? i'd like to try one with my boyfriend

Well, you just shoot the film, then give it to someone else to shoot! Then process it as normal!

Some say you should over/underexpose the first/second exposures, but when I spoke to a very experienced photographer he said when he double exposes (which is what film swapping is) he exposes as he normally would, not over or under for the first or second time.

So basically, just shoot a roll of film as you would normally, then hand it to your bf and let him shoot it, then process... et voila! Your first film swap is complete!

I get Aphex Twin in my head when I look at this. It's pretty great

Also, your signature. You're right--I'm tired people appropriating everything. (if that's what you mean)

AFX? Cool, what song?

About the signature, I see what you are saying, I think it is open to interpretation, like everything. But I likethe way you read it a lot! Always fun to see things differently!

Windowlicker
You know, I have very few of their songs. Do you recommend an album to check out? I'm always looking for new music :3

Aphex Twin is my favourite musical artist. I met him!

Well, Richard D James album is a good place to start- very accessible, but still a nice mix of melody and rhythm.

But most people on the electronic music messageboard choose I Care Because You Do as their fave AFX album and I do too. It may take a little while to fully appreciate, but when you do grasp its beauty... PFTOO! amazing. The first track, Acrid Avid Jam Shred, is my fave.

Druqks is a technical masterpiece as well. That was his last full album to date. Some electronic music, fast and frenetic, some experimental stuff and some beautiful piano tracks. Nannou 2, the last track is my fave.

Happy listening!

You met him? That's awesome. I've never met any music idols of mine, but I've definitely stood a few feet away from one xD
*copy/pastes to music list* Thank you!

Errm you'd probably like Jaga Jazzist.

Hm, I have tried Jaga, but not really my thing. But thanks for the reccomedation all the same!

If you like Jega you might like Amon Tobin, if you have't already heard of him. Permutation is a good album to start with.

I have one Amon Tobin song. It's... okay. But that's just one song.
But yes, techno
