I had a few requests for a drawing tutorial for Lackadaisy so I figured, hey! Let's draw some stupid, whynot?Originally, it had a painting tutorial included, but it was getting to be too long, so I truncated it. That part might make it onto lackadaisycats.com when I hoist up there, though.

Your treatment of shape, motion and expression is of the best I've found in DA.
Line art impeccable.
And shading also very very nice
Add to that your twisted humor and creative writing, plus crazy amount of work put into each scene. Oh, and let's not forget how your love for correct period costumes, gadgets, vehicles and backdrops, which obviously requires hours upon hours of investigation (even if you're not really doing it as investigation, but more as simply digging up cool stuff)... so much detailing!

Inspiring is what I call it. I really itch now to return to paper and pencil once again, something I totally left on the side, next to the mouse and monitor.

Hmm.. It seems you are catching up to Murray Ball on my list of favorite cartoonists. I can imagine horse (cat from footrot flats) as victor. I went through lackadaisy.com. The story is brilliant, even unfinished. Freckle is a master piece of character design as are rocky and ivy.. and victor... and mordecai.. er.. ah screw it. They all rock. But nothing is funnier than Rocky running away from the train; Running and laughing *mud* continue laughing.

I write photoshop tutorials but this tutorial is simply so awesome. I am sure I will use it later on to draw..er..sandwidges or something.

This has been buggin me for a while but after you darken your lines and such how do you erase something like that without light pencil marks showin up or do you just fix it on the computer?
