Ah, good ol' Tria Marker #454T. I just wanted to see if i could get good tones using only one marker, and a very light one at that. Ehh...i dunno how well it works, but i like how it came out regardless of the tones It was fun to do because i love the monotony of layering markers over and over and over! It's really very therapeutic!So turn-of-the-century, southern melodrama was the mood of the day!
I really want to do somthing else like this in the near future. I'm currently planning somthing very ambitious, but i don't know if it will ever solidify....i guess we'll see.

I love the look of this piece. It's got that sepia-tone charm to it. I love the subject: Ravens, corn and a maiden. Very Norse symbology.

reminds me a lot of the introduction to Wizard of Oz, I mean the use of desaturated sepia tone.
and there is amazing sense of longing while the crows gather before her.

I also love the gloomy colour scheme, reminds me of the old film/ old yellowed newspapers effect. Styley! And go the marker! Gives it a very down to earth, drawn feeling which I love. I'm fond of cartooning/drawing styles that look like they've had influences from both Japanese and Western cartoons, yours are lovely. Keep drawing/making art! ^_^
