Not a real 3D Mandelbrot Scene but It looks like one. It is Mobius transformation, used on triplex numbers (power 12).Rendered with Mandelbulb3D, post process by Paint.Net.

Sinus Mandelbulb 8th power with cut at y=0 gives similiar images.

That looks pretty real to me, I can't find the formula for it. the 8th order mandelbulb doesn't look as good as that in cross section, and it looks the same from the side. So that version looks superior to the mandelbulb 8th order transform. i'ld love to do a mesh of that.Β
