Description Wooden ore cars like this could be ordered in bulk in the 1870s. They were assembled on arrival, like a 19th-century model kit.

Wow, wasn't expecting to see you make this little wagon! I'm quite interested in this one as Pacific Coast Borax ordered a number of these to be used although none of them appeared on the Borate & Daggett or the Death Valley RR, but were instead probably used on a electric railway running in and around the company's refinery in Bayonne, New Jersey. Anyways, fantastic work, as always!

You, Sir, are made of WIN for this!!!

There really do need to be more ore and dump cars out there, so Its nice to see this coming down the pipe! And they will look great behind your C&C locos!

Indeed! I'm hoping Andrew will be able to finish up his C&TL&F and C&C stock cars as well; that will allow me to do the ore gondolas and water car (among other things).

A square water car by chance?
I could certainly use some for the M&P for shipping water up tot the pass. I didn't know Andrew was working on any rolling stock for the game though. I'm surprised actually! I didn't know he was a model builder for the game.

Andrew has worked on stock off and on; he comments sometimes that I need to teach him Blender sometime. Mostly he seems to prefer detail things like trucks; I'd be perfectly happy to have him be doing the work on those.
And yes, square water cars, though Ben Dorsey also got me some info on the SPNG's rounded ones including those I've already made.

I have Ben's square tank cars, they're not bad. But not industry active if I recall. In any case I look forward to seeing both your new ore cars and the tank cars.

standard gauge or narrow gauge?

Both. These are ex-V&T but were narrow-gauged for the C&C in 1882.
