Description
Henry had finally topped up on coal and water, he headed back to tidmouth sheds for a well deserved rest. On the way he asked to stop by the wash down, but when he arrived there was a problem and he had to carry on covered in soot and dust. When he arrived back at the shed’s Gordon and James cackled themselves to bits upon seeing how dirty he was. Thomas and Emily looked at him in bewilderment and pity for they could see how exhausted he was.

Gordon: Hahahaha! My my my, whatever has happened to you my dear Henry?!
James: Yeah! You look like you were blown up by one of those silly cartoon characters on television! Hahaha!
Henry: Oh shut up, I’ve had a long day covering for Dominic one of his coal drags…
James: Yeah we can see that.

Gordon: You’d never catch us looking like that, that would be utterly disgraceful!
James: Disgusting!

Henry: And you two are being Despicable so SHUT YER HALF WIT PIE HOLES!!!
Thomas: Yeah shut up you two aren’t helping! Never mind them Henry, now, what exactly happened to you today?

Emily: Aye, I’d fancy to know myself too.

Henry: Well if you really want to know, I’ll tell you it all started earlier today…

One eternity later…

Henry: And then when I arrived at the washdown, there was a problem with the hoses! And they said they’d have them fixed by tomorrow! Ugh! I hate this day so much!
Thomas: Oh my, you certainly were put through the wringer today…
James: Oh boo hoo, let me play him a sad song on the world’s smallest violin…
Gordon: James is right Henry, pulling coal trucks isn’t that difficult. Why me and could do it easily!
James: Indeed.
Emily: Oh is that so? Well I can call Dominic and tell him he can have the day off when comes back tomorrow-
Gordon & James: *splutters in fury and slight fear* Nononono! Don’t you dare!

Thomas: Hah! Chickens! *makes chicken sounds*
James: Hey! We ain’t chicken! We just have a lot work tomorrow that’s all…
Thomas: Uh huh, you keep telling yourself that…
Gordon: Pah!
James: Hmph…

Henry: Hehehe, *sigh* Well at least I can get cleaned tomorrow morning, and Dom’s coming back so I won’t have to do that shit again.
Emily:*turns to henry* Aye, and he’ll be happy to know you kept your promise to him.

henry: *smiles* Thanks Emmy.
Thomas: Yeah, let’s just hope he doesn’t bring you coal as a thank you present. Hehehe!😉
Henry: Ugh…😑

FINALLY! I’M DONE WITH THIS STORY! WHOOOOO! But in all seriousness this was pretty fun to make, and it tested my literary skills. Anywho, looks like henry got his happy ending, sort of. And don’t worry he’ll get cleaned eventually. Hope ya’ll enjoyed Henry’s little story. He really is an enterprising engine isn’t he? 😁
