I shouldn't enter another OCT, but I really, really want to try my luck at a Digimon one, throw in DBZ and poke'mon, and there's the 3 major influences of my childhood.

HARALD (Rald) ROYAMA

History:
Rald's parents divorced when he was a little boy, and the shifting between his parents never gave him a chance to make any friends. He used toys to entertain himself as he began to grow up. One night he wished for his first friend and was granted a Digiegg from his father's computer. Together, he and his father hatched the egg and raised the Digimon inside, which eventually digivolved into its rookie stage-Avarimon.

Reason for Joining:
Though Rald and Avarimon have had some fun adventures together so far, their battle ability hasn't been tested yet. That's why they've signed up for the DWC, hoping to improve their friendship.

Attitude towards Partner:
Being his only friend ever, Rald is grateful for Avarimon every day. They both live with Rald's father, who treats them like brothers, but this also causes them to argue sometimes, and their personalities are very different. Rald is very opinionated and smart, and can get impatient with Avarimon's lack of knowledge on the human world. He must often be goaded into trying something fun or new by his digimon. At the end of the day, despite their bickering, they love each other very much.

AVARIMON:

History:
Avarimon once lived in the Digiworld, he trained in a desert village and gained a rival named Xirumon. The two would fight against the other as they grew up, with Avarimon always emerging victorious for the sake of his village. The day that he failed was the day that Xirumon embraced his darkness and killed Avarimon. However, he was reborn as a Digiegg, and for some reason was brought to the Human World. It's Avarimon's goal to one day get back to his village and defend it again.

Attitude towards partner:
Avarimon can be a little absent-minded sometimes, and always gets into trouble. His basic knowledge levels astound Rald, who knows more about the Digital World than Avarimon. He is very care-free and often has to mellow or calm down Rald. He would die for his partner without a doubt.
