Did this back in a stream a few weeks ago and just never had the energy to finish it. I might change up some of the brown later
Hal needed an upgrade.
He is a very big boy, nearly twice Technis' height in standard mode. (Technis is about a head and a half shorter than IDW Ultra Magnus for reference. She is v tall). Usually, I draw him as just barely shorter than Astrotrain and the other losers. His alt is truck, but with attachments for a carrier trailer and a hold for spare energon for long trips. He can carry at least 2 average sized jets on the bed (hence why he's so big). Physically, he's strong with a lot of endurance and can spend days at a time driving.

- Stuff from a previous post with some minor tweaks -
-Hal’s abdominal section is made of a soft, pliable metal that can expand and allows for the storage of liquid energon or other fuels for long trips with little to no pit stops.
-His job mainly is transporting ground vehicles over long treks, usually damaged allies who are unable to move or don’t have the energy themselves or if flying/ground-bridging is considered too dangerous or is unavailable.
-He’s also supposed to gather intelligence on possible Autobots activity and transmitting the data to Decepticon HQ while out driving.
-Instead he spends his time on earth listening to earth music and chatting it up with the local drivers over earth’s radio.
-His holoform can often be seen at truck stops, bonding with humans.
-He does speak with an accent and that is where it came from. He’s also speaks several languages fluently and will sometimes swear or argue in them.
-He’s not much of a fighter, but can defend himself if he has to. He doesn’t mind having little play fights with the other ‘cons every now and again. The only issue he has is when they get too rough. Coughcoughtripleloserscough
-Just an open and friendly type of bot, really.
-He strongly dislikes doctors and avoids med bay visits whenever possible. His body is covered in dents and scars as a result. Technis does not like him.
-He is not a particular favorite of Technis.
-His back left break that stops his wheel from coming out while in robot mode is broken, so sometimes his wheel will pop out unexpectedly and he’ll usually trip, bring down the nearest bot with him.
-Has several different carrier trailers that he swaps out depending on the size and number of passengers he’ll have.
-Connected to all trailers is a separate tank for storage of energon for his passengers (just in case). He can’t carry nearly as much as Octane, but he can handle a decent amount. Large ones come with a special fueling station.
-Pre-war, he served essentially the same purpose as he does now; carrying other bots from point A to point B over land if flying or ground-bridging aren’t viable options.
-He also occasionally transported crates of energon cubes from mines to be loaded onto different shuttles for delivery to Cybertron.
-Raised on a mining planet not too far from Cybertron with heavy winds and constant storms that make it too dangerous for fliers to come about freely. Grounders are relatively safe driving. Special terminals were built for shuttle landing, housing and launch. The hassle it takes to get to and from the planet resulted in the base's retirement. Before the small group of inhabitants could be taken of, a severe storm hit, trapping them. It wasn't until the Decepticons accidentally smashed into it, that they were rescued.
-Constructed cold
-Not really a character thing, but the stars are a reference to his initial inspiration, Brave Starr, who he's almost nothing like now. It was an old cartoon I watched as a kid.
-His holoform is large and round with decently muscular arms with hair all over then. Facial hair as well and freckles. Got a star tattoo on the right shoulder and a Decepticon tattoo on the right, mostly covered so humans can’t see. Skin’s the same tan color as his faceplate.
-Other ‘cons do make fun of how he talks, something he’s not particularly sensitive about but he ain’t above defending.
-Mini collection of earth guns hidden among his collection of Cybertronian and other non-earth guns
-Great shot despite relatively large upper chassis
-Hates slasher flicks and gore in general, human, Cybertronian or otherwise
-Faints at the sight
