BIO

Snowlily is an Herbalist who specializes in the grown and caring for plants that strive in cold environments. She even cultivates some species of mushrooms. She is a friend of Tamarin, even though the two haven't seen each other an ages.

BACKSTORY

Her parents were part of the Talons of Peace movement during the war, but neither one of them was very happy about it. Her Rainwing mother was cast out of the Rainforest for getting in fights with multiple other Rainwings, INCLUDING the Queen (who was Fruit Bat at the time). Her Icewing father wasn't exactly the most friendly of dragons either, but he knew to only show his claws when circumstances demand, and as such Snowlily was a real loose cannon. Short fuse, and explosive temper.

Snowlily was pretty much a fighter from the start. Her Rainwing side was the more dominant of the two, but her Icwing side blazed fairly bright as well. One day when she was around the base of Jade Mountain with the Talons on a routine mission, a rock slide broke out and while she and several other Talons survived, there were a few that didn't, including her parents. They were crushed. With no home, Snowlily stayed with the Talons for a few more years until the war ended. When Queen Glory took the throne, Snowlily was pardoned for her outbursts against her fellow Rainwings, but after a while, she decided to just leave3 on her own to follow her own occupation. She'd always had an interest in plants, and as such wanted to learn more about them, no matter where they grew. Unfortunately there were several creatures who would gladly kill her if necessary. Some hunted her for food, others for fun, and there were a few who even sought her out to protect her. They did not realize just how powerful she really was, nor did they expect her fighting instincts to be well-defined because of her Icewing blood.

Any creature that came looking for trouble against Snowlily soon found that she had thorns so to speak. There were a few who put up a good fight, but she still won more often than not. The nice thing is she never initiates a battle. That was a lesson that she had learned from her Rainwing mother. “Do not strike unless struck first.” While her father disagreed with that, he understood that fighting and violence are not always the answer.

Eventually Snowlily found her way to the Ice Kingdom. The Queen, Queen Snowfall started by asking her a few questions about why she hadn't known about her, and Snowlily said that it was because she was a hybrid and raised by the Talons of Peace. She didn't understand much of the Icewing culture, but she was willing to learn. She even had skills that may benefit the tribe, and any other tribes that came to call.

Queen Snowfall liked her enthusiasm, but sadly had no place in the tribe for her, however she was able to set aside a patch of land near the borders of the Sand Kingdom where Snowlily could set up an outpost of her own and do whatever she wanted there. She would also be allowed to come and go as she pleased, especially if she had some useful herbs for healing.

Snowlily accepted this offer. To this day she still goes outside the Ice Kingdom in order to find other plants and see how she can get them to be able to survive in the Ice Kingdom. It has not been an easy undertaking, and some of her experiments have failed, some have succeded.

STRENGTHS

Highly knowledgeable. She knows plenty of plants by their color, texture, smell, and in some cases poison. She has built up an immunity to many poisons that come from plants, and she has even developed an antidote to some stronger poisons such as cyanide and even the poison of a Dragonbite Viper. (Yes, she's been bitten by one a couple times herself. It still hurts, but it can't poison her.)

WEAKNESS

Loose cannon.

She has a very short fuse, and it's not hard to set her off. Sometimes a vial out of place is enough to make her explode. She has gotten better at this, and has even taken to training an apprentice who can fetch rare herbs for her that she otherwise wouldn't be able to reach
