Description
Crusader is a chain-driven traction engine that was purchased by the Sudrian government along with another engine in 1917 to run the track maintainance trains and transport supplies for projects. The NWR built two more engines in 1920 for permenent way work. These four would run the pwd up until the 1950s, when the NWR would purchase new locomotives and equipment to replace the old, worn-out stock. The whereabouts of Crusader are unknown, it is assumed to either be scrapped or sitting in a siding.Related content
