Yeah, let the debate begin.

I was recently looking at a few "I'm Christian and I like Anime" stamps and I was overjoyed -cough-sarcasm-cough- to see all the comments preaching about how liking Yaoi, Yuri, and Gory Animes was a sin. Honestly! wonder what they'd say if I told them I liked Higurashi. >.>

If I hadn't been scarred by Yaoi at a very young age, I probably wouldn't mind it. I'm not a huge fan of Yuri, but there are certain couples I like. Oh, and one other thing: I like two couples with with an over 10 year age difference, and three incest couples. And do I think that this is a sin? No. but away with the coupling things, I'm getting off-topic. the point is this: Anime/Manga IS NOT REAL. Do you really think God gives a crap if you watch and anime with lotsa blood, or if you have a soft spot for a yaoi couple? I mean, of course He CARES. He always cares. But as far as I'm concerened, you can go ahead and have a field day and have as much fun as you want with it, because it's make-believe. I understand having a dislike for Yaoi, yuri, and incest based on your religion. While I don't believe liking any of them is promoting them in real life, nor do I believe it to be porn, i can see how some might see it this way.

But, onto the point (FINALLY -bricked-) where does anyone get that it's a sin to like Gory anime? Seriously. so this stamp is basically for all the Elfen Lied, Higurashi, etc fans, who want to say "Guess what, I'm christian an I like gory animes. You got a problem with that? Tough luck for you."

(I'll allow comments as long as I don't get flamed. I don't mind people politely informing me why they hold the belief that they do, heck, I might even learn somthing. But comments like "OMG YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!" or "UR A SINNER, BURN!" or "OMG U DUMB CRHISTIAN", etc, are not appreciated. N0t that anyone's probably gonna actually look at this stamp anyway, but...)
But yeah, my first ever stamp, sorry if it sucks. >.>
