Hastur's name is in the chant to summon a byakhee to your assistance. You must also (1) Drink the mead of the Elder Gods, (2) Blow the enchanted whistle, and (3) Hold forth the Elder Sign. (1) is to enable you to survive the trip the Byakhee will take you at transEinsteinian speed to your intended destination. (3) is to obligue the byakhee to obey you, and (2) do the actual summoning along with the chant.
