The designs are great but let's be honest that the bot forms are not being used in a righteous way....

Whoever thought of making them robots should be fired into the sun.
Now, I would give them the Metal Gear cyborg treatment. Cyborg bodies with artificial musculature made of carbon nanotube. Giving them immense strength and agility, enough to toss giant robots and deflect bullets from fully automatic weapons with a sword. That, or maybe an exoskeleton suit that similarly enhances the user.
The human brain has the ability to be flexible, unlike a robot. Another huge advantage.
