So are these successive panels (it doesn't seem 100% successive) or just random bits? And the graphics are pretty good too, cgi dosn't always work. Either way, it seems pretty good. And everyone has favorite bits from the series they'd like to see mentioned, (that might be some there) from Zelda's reaction to a Hey Listen fairy, to Link Excuuuse me!-ing Ganon. With sass.

Hehe, the scenes are pretty random - I drew the sprites first, and then thought that it'd be nice to make them all VN format, which meant trying to come up with lines and scenes on the fly based on the expressions, so it's very loose storytelling. Thanks for the kind words!

That last question on the last panel is a trap! Never ask that question. Even when it is brought up. It ends badly.

No, killing Tinkle is an ends badly. (but shouldn't, I hate him.) Being turned into a piece of equipment is an ends badly. Asking Link her breast size should only cost you a piece of armor because you've got to get the breastplate the right size. She's not a flat muscley pectoral man.

I'd play.Β It looks like it could be interesting.Β Make it playing as her adventuring partner (anything from a soldier assigned to her to someone she took along with her) and you can make it a good mix of date sim and RPG as you grind in dungeons too.Β Could be quite fun.

That's a cool angle too! Different than I was envisioning, but I like that idea as well - A dungeon is quite the interesting setting to build up a companionship, and it'd make sense to be a visual novel since Link would be doing most/all the action and fighting. Can love bloom in a dungeon? Hm hm.

And there can be instances where certain choices will lead to you saving Link...or her saving you.Β And as the bond grows, who ends up relying on who more could determine who takes the lead once it reaches the intimacy chapters.

Considering how hard it is to find a decent English dating sim... I'd be onboard for this. That being said...
It might be neat to have a dating sim where you play a matchmaker/wingman for the main character instead of the actual person doing the dating. This game could provide that by having you play a similar sort of companion role to what Navi served, giving Link advice on how to win over her potential love interests.

Good point! I definitely like the idea of playing as Zelda in this one, guiding Link along. And both you AND Link could end up with different people, or each other. And you're right, it definitely serves the Zelda format well if one considers themselves the companion character! Link definitely needs one!

It's something to think about. It's always been fun just thinking up ideas, but to commit and go all the way is quite the venture. And a very big obstacle is the fact that it's Nintendo's IP, so I'd have to either keep it super on the downlow, OC everything, or somehow obtain a license. So, there's that!

I'm guessing Linkle is a boy in this timeline, to keep up her being the distaff counterpart to Link with some talent and plenty of good intentions to her, but also with sight delusions of grander.Β
