Description
"So tell me, what's become of my ship...?A little caricature doodle of my favourite character from Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain Hector Barbossa, played by the irresistible, brilliant, and maddeningly sexy Geoffrey Rush. I've been a huge fan of Rush for many years. And, without giving away the plot of the second film, I screamed at the end — and I think I scared a few people in doing so.
(I'm presently working on a Barbossa short story — I'm at thirteen pages so far.)

this is a very impressive piece. you should have been at the santa cruz midnight premier, as soon as he came on screen everyone was screaming and hooting so loud i dont think anyone caught that last line. stoked.

Good... I finally got new scanner! It's funny, when my last scanner didn't work, I did these massive amount of drawings; now that I have a working one, I'm barely drawing at all -- the irony!

As much as it pains me to see that people actuallly liked that garbage-filled suck-fest that was the second pirates, I must say that that "doodle" is quite impressive. It seems to me that would be how he would look were he a character in a Monkey Island game (which is basically what the first film came off as, and why I liked it so much).
On another note: You may be happy to see Barbossa now, but if they destroy his character in the third one the way they destroyed Jack in the second one, then you may not continue to be so thrilled... >_>

Personally, I liked the first film better...but I found the second film entertaining. The plot wasn't as intricate, but it was very character driven. I usually hate sequels, so I wasn't holding my breath for the second film and was surprised that it was better than I thought it would be, but I screamed (for joy) still at the finale.
I don't know if the third film with be better or worse...so I'm trying not keeping my hopes up. But I can extremely curious, nevertheless.

Character driven would have been fine by me, if I didn't feel that the characters I love from the first film failed to make an appearance in the sequal. Elizabeth started making out with Jack (no!). Jack started bumbling around (see, it was all a JOKE when they said he was the worst pirate ever, it wasn't supposed to be TRUE) and ABANDONED the Black Pearl. The Black Pearl, well, it was about the same. Will got a little bit too cool for his own good. And, ok, I should stop. You know what I think already....

*Bows down and worships* After seeing his appearance at the end of Dead Man's Chest, I went back and watched Curse of the Black Pearl and officially can consider myself a fan of both Jack and Barbossa. *glances at previous comments* Nine months?! Geez, Hector, you better not have come back only to steal the Pearl again...

Well, I hope he's not after JUST the Pearl -- he's mutli-facet, so there's always more to ol' Hector. Best cliffhanger I've seen in a LONG time.
