Description
So on my last post, I said that Dex used to have long purple hair that evolved into its own character, and this is that character. And if you'll suspend your disbelief for a second, I'll tell you that this is *teeeeeechnically* a recreation of a Pikachu character I had back in maybe 2010? Or maybe that's a bit of a stretch.

But this is Avery, and he's the tumblr sexyman vampire gymnast that came from too much fanfiction and too much Twilight. He's a mean-spirited habitual liar with few weak points and an inflated ego. His vampire tendencies work more like energy sapping rather than a need for blood, but I'm still working out the details on that. He's also a shapeshifter and doesn't have a real "default" form, but this is the look he chooses for the "current" timeline of the world I'm building.

Avery and Dex used to be boyfriends, but it's hard to relate to humans and their emotions. Instead, Avery spends his time doing whatever he feels like whenever an urge strikes. He's impulsive, but driven, and when he makes his mind up about something, he sticks to that thing, sometimes to a fault. He's a socialite and floats between crowds, usually charming his way into the middle of circles. However, he doesn't really consider anybody a friend since friendships don't register with him.

I really had fun with his design, and I'm a fan of the heart clasp on his boob-shirt.
This is a very weird character to me because I feel strange about him as an artist. Sometimes you make characters that you're super proud of and fireworks go off, but this dude seems to write himself, and so far it's working well??? And yet???????
