So Build-a-bear released a Teddiursa plush with an online exclusive bundle that includes a blue pattered sleeper and a Friend Ball hoodie. Anyone who knows me even a tiny little bit knows that I absolutely adore this Pokemon.

And now I'll put my Teddiursa story on the internet!

So my first pokemon game of my own was Crystal back in 2001. My parents got me the official guide book at a Blockbuster for Christmas that year, and I looked through the Pokedex in the back of the book and found the original Sugimori Teddiursa artwork, and I fell in love instantly. I was an imaginative kid and used my stuffed animals as Pokemon (I was like 7) and I had a teddy bear my dad got me from Target around Valentine's Day. And for some reason, I completely projected all my love of Teddiursa onto that bear.

I didn't exactly had the easiest time growing up, and I won't go into details here, but we moved around a lot, most of the time unexpectedly, and I didn't have a lot of stability. So I did the kid thing and carried a comfort item, which happened to be that Target bear named Teddiursa, and I've been a mad Pokemon fan ever since.

I've also been a big Build a Bear fan too, but I only ever got a couple around the time it was "age appropriate." The natural thought in the back of my mind has always been "what if they came out with a Teddiursa to build?" And now my childhood dream will be shipped to me in a box in a week.
