Description
This is a memorial written on a door on my high school. My freshman year, a student was in a car accident and suffered serious head trauma. He wasn't killed on the spot, but didn't live long after he got to the emergency room. My high school was in shambles for at least a month.. even longer for the kids who were close to them.As for myself, I never got to know the boy very well either. From what I've heard, he was an amazing person with a heartwarming sense of humor. Nearly every day after school, I see this message, and it still tugs at my heartstrings.
You guys here on DA, do what this boy forgot that day. Learn what our town had to learn the hard way. Stay safe and wear a helmet. It might seem like something stupid, but a small piece of plastic and foam would've saved this boy's life.

wow.. this is amazing work and that little story there... I don't know what to say. It's sad and makes really think how something so small as helmet can make a big difference and save lifes. I bet that boy would be happy to see this here.

Yeah. The message is so beautiful, but it always reminds me of how heartbroken his friends were the monday after. I figure he might be happy to see that, wherever he might be.

Wow, this really brought back the hurt.... On April first of this year, my best friend was hit by a train... I don't know if he commited suicide or if it was foul play; all I know is that it hurt like hell on my heart and mind. I loved him though the only reason I knew him was because he was dating my friend at the time I met him (they werent dating a the time he died though). And when he died, the whole school was in shambles. I was even forced to go to counceling since I kinda went to hide in my head if you know what I mean. He wasn't mine, but god, I miss him
