I'm playing catch up with my art. This was originally done in August of 2021. had been (has still been?) hunting shiny Cyndiquil in the gen 2 games. He's so pretty, so I can't blame them for wanting one lolI wanted to specifically use the gen 2 palette, and it was definitely fun! The red/orange pokeball was a different feeling.
