Cooooool! I like the idea of Snarl taking it upon himself to keep Grimlock from blowing everyone up.

Very nice Mosaic I really like the script and the art matches well. Good to see you focus on a Dinobot who's personality did not get shown as much as the others. Great team effort!

Whew. That first panel especially is absolutely amazing.

Very nice overall.

Very interesting. So, Snarl is more committed to being an autobot then a Dynobot?

It's also nice to see Snarl's superior ability with a sword alluded to.

Excellent work all around.

Snarl has superior ability with a sword?

What's that from?

Nice story and art... interesting to see Snarl as more than just a brooding loner.

Well, he was the only one who used it in the cartoon.

And he favored it heavily in the comic. There were several instances where the others were fighting in dino mode and he just stayed in robot mode and used his sword.

Very nice. The comics Dynobots are much deeper than their cartoon brethren. Grimlock seems to get away with so much insubordination and potential mutiny because the writer likes him, I'm glad to see there's an Autobot loyalist on hand just in case. I think Snarl is one of those "still waters run deep" kinds of guys.

I agree. This is a great story and adds a lot of dynamic. And it's interesting to think that if Grimlock ever goes astray, someone will be there to stop him

Mosaics like this are a big reason to love the whole project.. I love insight on underutilized characters.

It's funny that the Dinobots have always been all over the place, and Grimlock was usually the only one who got any characterization.

Snarl, I am rooting for you if Grimlock ever leaves the Autobots.

Very nice!

Excellent take on the most popular Dinobot through the optics of a not-so-popular one! Three cheers for Snarl!

Really kool, love that you did Cybertronian Grimlock, but I question how the other Dinobots look after re-formatting. I'm not too keen on the organic look they seemed to gain. What sets them apart from BeastWars style transformers is the fact that even though they have animal forms they look totally inorganic and have a whole 'so we don't fit into the natural world, what, want to fight about it' kind of attitude.

Yep, what he said. This Mosaic is firmly set in IDW's continuity - the 2nd panel being a direct lift from a moment in Spotlight: Shockwave, but from a different angle (so if you've read that comic, you'll know why Grimlock and Snarl are damaged in that panel).

The designs are taken from IDW's Spotlight: Shockwave. In the comic the Dinobots have to reformat their bodies to be covered in organic flesh to protect themselves from unstable energon. Much like Beast Wars

Great job guys! Snarl has always been my favorite Dinobot. Cool to get insight on him and his view of Grimlock. Grimlock is overrated anyway, I'd love to see Snarl take him down.

Sweet featuring of Snarl, my favorite Dinobot. Not sure I like the characterization of Grimlock, though.

Very cool. I always wondered how each of the Dinobots would react to Grimlock switching sides. I think Slag would follow him, but Snarl, Sludge and Swoop woulr remain loyal to the Autobot cause.

Nice on the panel where Optimus jabs his finger at Grimlock's chest in Shockwave's SL, as well Megatron's offer. And interesting view from Snarl's perspective on his team leader.

Sludge looks a bit... short.
