Incredible shot! Iv'e seen hundred's of these and over time they have started to bore me but this in particular has a small characteristic that has drawn my attention you may not have noticed other than that is has the incredible texture suited to a monochrome landscape and an awesome composition plus a great use of shutter speed but the thing that hold's this above the others is I can actually see the curvature of the earth! This may be the case in many others but for some reason here it is more pronounced.

Well thanks. I believe the curvature is an illusion though, created by the shapes around the horizon. I corrected the lens distortion so geometrically, it should be straight. The vignette also adds to the impression of roundness, I guess.
