WELL HERE I GO AGAIN

I managed to juggle between college and arts so I can make a submission for the TEF 2011 Calendar Contest. This time I took my piece more seriously and I had dramatically improved since last years submission. Here I had used many of the techniques and elements that I had learned more recently.

I can say this painting can be appropriate for a fall month, most likely November since it's cold and grayish. A far more colorful piece is more suited for September and October.

Anyways I had loaded the full image for gallery purposes because I did not feel like cutting it for here. You can get the cropped image in the link above, Jen

Awww thank you so much I found the textures here on DA...I'm not sure where exactly I found it but I believe it was when I searched for canvas textures and I think the one I used was called "Blue Rough Canvas or something like that. I've used this quite a few times so it's a preety good one

Thank you very much I do to-glad I was able to find time to whip up something for the competition. Even if I don't win, I'll still be happy that at least I made a Portfolio piece.

Well done on this one. The only thing that bothers me is the back leg, it is a bit off, but not very noticeable. Well done with the background

Thank you very much Yeah...that one leg I've had a hell of a time with. Plus the fact I drew the sketch in class with no reference didn't help. But at least it can be ignored. Thank you for pointing that out-I'll keep a watch on deer legs esp when I moved onto my Mebukijika sketch. Deer legs can sure be tricky
