(Sugested by Darkpulse99)This is sort of my version of a battle with Ridley. (Not that I've ever played Metroid, so I don't know how you normally fight him.) Samus would enter into a huge cylindrical room, like the inside of a tower; she then has to race up a spiral walkway, at the top Ridley circles the room. Samus then has to leap onto his wing and fight him in the air. If she falls off she has to climb all the way back up. So, for a game it would be a hard, yet fun, fight. (The best kind.)
Edit 1: (Now that I've looked around a little Samu's colors are a little different the what I did... humm... I think I'll fix it tomorrow.... she looks like Iron Man right now.... okay I'll fix it in the morning...)
Edit 2: I've tried moving her colors around an' I think my first choice was the best... so no change. (unless I suddenly think of something really cool.)
Edit 3: Yes, yes, yes, I know she looks like Spider-man.

I love the Iron-Man colors. I also like the style you used to draw her body; it reminds me of Spider-Man's physique.

It was a giant radioactive spider. You have to shoot it in the face thousands of times as it just stands there spitting fireballs at you.

Ridley looks really good, but Samus reminds of IronMan in his older incarnations. In fact the battle occur with Ridley flying around, spitting fire and doing his tail whip which can deflect projectiles like charged shots and missiles so Samus must be pretty carefull to not miss and then overhelmed.

I really like the tower feel, as well as the art for Ridley, Samus looks awesome, just not enough like Samus to really catch my interest. On that note, she kind of looks like Spider Man, don't ask why, that's just what comes to mind. Either way, awesome work as a whole, definitely quality work.

Much more dramatic than the real Ridley fights.
They usually involve shooting him in the mouth...allot.
And getting hurt...allot.

Metroid Prime 3 has something like it, but not quite the way I would have wanted it... but then I was thinking of more of a Zelda like game...

The helmet mainly makes me think of Spider-Man.

Yep, this guy's basically the man when it comes to dragons. I like that Samus very much, too; it's slim, like the NES/Gameboy sprite was, if I recall correctly. Oh, and great lighting, to boot!
Beats the green and black color of Samus's world when I used to play Metroid II on the Gameboy. (Yes, the old Gameboy. Not your Gameboy colors or Advances or XLR2 or whatnot. 
On a purely trivial note, the main villain, Mother Brain, is known as "Mother Brian" in a Chinese hack of one of the Metroid games.

Yeah, Samus might look a little different, but I really like your interpretation. Excellent colour choices - I'd say the whole piece is really solid. Good job, man.
