Description
Crystal isn't actually Grace's sister, she was created to be a vessel for the Treeangle by the Treeangle since it didnt have a body of it's own. It quickly realized she had a soul and consciousness of her own, so it left her alone, leaving her where someone would find her (Grace's parents happen to be the lucky ones).
Later, when Draco steals the Tree in order to spread the Decay, he captures her and forces her to absorb the tree, turning her into the other "form", since that's what she was made to do in the first place.
